Gillian is also the external expert advisor to the Red Cross National Blood Service in Australia. Professor Polberger has retired from his clinical post in Sweden but maintains a role in the activities of the Swedish Milknet (Swedish Milk Banking Association). Professor Polberger’s expertise and long experience, particularly linked to the nutritional analysis of human milk, was hugely valuable to EMB and we will miss his presence at future meetings and conferences.
